  • A dietary modification may or may not help in reducing ADHD issues.

  • Evidence provides only limited support.

  • So, what’s a parent to do?

o Consensus on a sensible approach

o Eat a diet that emphasizes fruits and vegetables, whole grains, good sources of protein.

o Go easy on unhealthy saturated fats, fast food ad rapidly digested carbohydrates.

o Include plenty of physical activity.

  • A healthy diet may reduce ADHD symptoms by less exposure to artificial colors and additives.

  • It will certainly improve overall health and nutrition.
